The Tinhorn Trio

Tango

Tango, couldn’t be more different to Miguel. A young Triceratops, she’s immensely strong – and also strong willed, tending to charge first and ask questions later. Their contrasting “go-slow” and “go-go!” styles lead to comical clashes on a daily basis. They both love tackling their long list of dino-chores around the ranch. Built like a bulldozer, Tango acts as a kind of four-legged equipment truck that can carry all of Miguel’s tools and equipment with ease. She’s a real softy under that hard-nosed shell, loving bubble baths, butterflies and bows… and dancing.

Blitz

Blitz, a velociraptor – one of the fastest, most unpredictable dinosaurs of all. When he was just 4, Jon rescued a raptor egg from a pack of wild dino-scavengers. It hatched right there and then and when the newborn raptor looked up at Jon, it was love at first sight for them both. An unspoken bond was formed between them and they have become the perfect match for each other, with both being bold, brash and full of swagger. The master of quick moves, Blitz is always there to back Jon up when he lets his bravado crowd out common sense, and even rein him in when necessary – but when he bolts, no other dinosaur can catch him. A terrific team, they are “fast” friends!

Quack

As Jane’s loyal dino-care sidekick, Quack is a kooky, wildly eccentric parasaur who is always cool in a dino-crisis.

Clover

Clover, a gentle, gangly, long-necked baby Brontosaurus who’s a bit clumsy and easily distractedby the wonders of the natural world. Though quicker on his feet than his brain, he too has a natural knack for taking care of his fellow dinosaurs and is eager to learn all of the dinosaur care tricks that Min can teach him. With a long tail that’s as nimble as a nurse’s hand, he’s the perfect partner to find whatever Min needs from her precious Dino-Care Case tied to the saddle. All heart, super enthusiasm, and infectious positivity, Min and Clover are the gang’s most vocal cheerleaders who can brighten even the darkest moments with their upbeat, bubbly energy and ready smiles.

Thunderfoot

One wild dinosaur stands above all others: Thunderfoot! A towering spinosaurus with a big appetite, this dino is the king of the badlands. This noble spinosaurus mostly keeps to himself, but he's the last dino you'd want to mess with!

Biscuit

Biscuit, a full-grown T-Rex and the alpha dinosaur on the ranch, has been with Bo since he was a hatchling and together these two have stories of their adventures that go on for days. Calm, sturdy and as loyal as an old hound, you couldn't ride a better dinosaur or have a better friend. Biscuit takes his job as the senior dinosaur on the farm seriously and makes sure that the ranch and the rest of dinosaurs are safe, protected, and kept in line.

Perky

The feisty baby compsognathus, Perky, might be small, but he's as brave as a t-rex! He looks up to Blitz as his hero and honorary big brother, and will jump in to help with any problem on Dino Ranch- even if that problem is a little too big for this tiny dino-mite.

Angus

Angus is the Cassidy family's massive triceratops and field-ploughing helper. Old Angus loves to sleep and can get mighty grumpy when he's woken up from a nap, but a tasty turnip treat will calm him right down!

Thunderbolt

Jon and Blitz's Dimorphodon partner, Thunderbolt, is fast as lightning! Bold and adventurous, she instantly clicked with Jon and Blitz, and the three of them make a powerful leadership team on land and air. Where Blitz is fast on his feet, Thunderbolt streaks through the sky with athleticism, and both love to push their limits and show off their skills every chance they can. For an expert dino trainer like Jon, having two partners that are so eager to rise to every challenge is a dream come true.

Twister

Miguel and Tango's Tapejara partner, Twister, is mighty as a hurricane! He's so strong, he can carry Miguel's entire workshop in one handy flying contraption- and Miguel and Tango too! Like his riders, Typhoon not only loves inventing and construction, but has a goofy side and is known to pull high-flying tricks for a laugh.

Wilbur

Giddy up, up, and away! Wilbur is Tara's high-flying pterodactyl pal and the head of the Dino Port fleet of rescue pteros. The massive pterosaur is an expert flyer and can transport all of the Dino Ranchers through the sky in his Dino Porter.

Cloud

Min and Clover's Thalassodromeus partner, Cloud, is smooth as a breeze and soft as a cloud! Gentle and thoughtful, he has a soft touch with young or ailing dinos, so he was the natural choice to be the Flyer and Rescue Squad's medical expert. When Min and Clover need to respond to an emergency, Cloud's gracefully hovering in the air lets them work their dino-medical magic with a steady hand.

Miguel

Super smart, soft-spoken genius Miguel may be the smallest and youngest of the three dino-ranch siblings, but he’s got BIG ideas. Born with a natural knack for knowing how things work and how to keep them working, he’s wise way beyond his 6 years and can turn anything into something from next to nothing. He’s imagined, drawn up, and hammered together no end of dinosaur accoutrements and add-ons designed to maximize efficiency around the ranch. Sometimes, though, his inventions can go off the rails, and cause no end of trouble – but Miguel has a way of solving the problem creatively and finding the comic upside.

‘It's Dino-Might!’

Jon

Bold, brash and full of swagger, Jon is our leader and ‘dino-whisperer’. He is a confident, brave, fearless rider and risk taker, with a natural ease with animals of all kinds. Jon is being groomed as the Ranch’s dino trainer. At 10, he’s the oldest sibling and the leader of the gang. Fun and fearless, he loves adventure -though sometimes he ends up covered in mud rather than glory! Fast-talking and fast-moving, Jon goes for broke. An expert with a lasso, he fancies himself the best Dino Rancher that ever strapped a saddle to a dinosaur. But, though he’s prone to playful boasting. Jon’s heart is always in the right place and he closely follows Pa’s Dino Ranch Code: “If someone needs a hand, lend ‘em-two!”

‘it’s veloci-time!’

Tara Dacktle

Yippee-SKY-HIGH-yay! Tara runs the Dino Port with her dad, Zachary, and pterodactyl pal, Wilbur. Bold, adventurous, and a bit of a daredevil, Tara's the best pterodactyl-flyer around for when the Dino Ranchers need a helping hand from the air.

Min

Our dino-doctor in training, 8 year-old Min loves animals - especially dinosaurs. She was born with a gift for knowing just what to do to help a dino in distress and her gentle touch can put even a skittish dinosaur at ease. Always upbear, "on", and supportive, Min sports a permanent smile on her face and has a heart as big as the dinosaurs she looks after. She can't stand to see any animal (or person) feeling bad and will do everything she can to help them feel better - but sometimes her heart rules her head and her unwavering conviction about what's the right court of action, even when common sense says otherwise, often lands the gang in trouble.

‘Let's make a dino-diagnosis’

Clara

The oldest Tinhorn, Clara, is a rough and tough rival to Jon Cassidy. A permanent scowl is etched on Clara’s face, even when she’s braying her signature laugh at the Cassidys for falling for another one of her nasty pranks. Her riding and roping skills could almost match the Ranchers’, but her lack of respect for other people, and nature is what always leads to her downfall. She and the Tinhorns only want what’s best for them, but when they land in real trouble they’ll yell for HELP from the Dino Ranchers. She thinks very highly of herself, and sees her little brothers as necessary tagalongs to aid in her mischievous plans.

Ike

The middle child, Ike, both looks up to and can’t stand his big sister Clara- she’s so bossy, HE should be the boss! Always the first to point out a flaw in her plans, Ike has all the naughtiness of Clara with none of her skills. He's always takes shortcuts. But if anything goes right, he’ll jump at the chance to take credit, while any failure he blames on Clara (which she, naturally will also blame on him).

Ogie

The youngest Tinhorn, Ogie, goes through life with a smile on his face even when his siblings’ plans go haywire. Of all the Tinhorns, he feels the call to do good, and can be influenced to do the right thing from time to time. However, he’s also easily influenced by his siblings to do the wrong thing, and takes delight in the hilarious pranks they pull on those Cassidys. His goofy laugh has been known to knock him right off his raptor, and he’s always the most purely excited to see his clever sister Clara’s plans come to fruition. But in Ogie lies a soft heart that somewhere yearns for his family to be more like the kind and brave Dino Ranchers.
